Following the changes made to Nexus Pop Fares from 1st April 2026, some of the rail only fares have also been revised on the Northumberland Line. The positive is that rail only fares for 3 or 4 zone journeys have been reduced. This means that the peak time single fares from Ashington, Bedlington, Blyth Bebside, Newsham and Seaton Delaval to Manors or Newcastle have been reduced to £2.40, with the off peak single fare reduced to £2.00.
