Virtual careers room launches for Northumberland SEND Schools

Overnight Track Works at Blyth Bebside
Network Rail will be undertaking track maintenance works in the Blyth Bebside area using a machine called a Tamper, which is used to make sure the track is level. The works are essential for the continued development of the Northumberland Line rail project. The Journey

As part of the development of the Northumberland Line, poet John Challis has written a poem to commemorate the lines rich history, which is shared with today's users of the line. The poem has a stanza for each of the line's six new stations and can also be seen at each of the Northumberland Line's new stations. We hope you enjoy it.

Now that all six stations are open on the Northumberland Line and track works have been completed, we won't be sharing any future "business as usual" works that Network Rail carry out along the line.
