The former Boots building in Bedlington has been demolished to allow for the new station works. Over the course of two weekends, Northumberland Line contractors Morgan Sindall have carefully managed the demolition of the structure. Using a large mechanical excavator, the structure was carefully reduced to the ground, with the demolition material removed from the site.
