As we get closer to the return to passenger trains on the Northumberland Line, it's time to learn more about the trains that will be serving the line.
The trains will be operated by Northern and will be 2 car units that have 138 seats as well as 2 wheelchair spaces and spaces for bikes too. The trains also have accessible toilets, making the train easy to use for everyone.
The trains will have free onboard WiFi and charging points as well as display screens to show the calling points for the train and connections at key stations. As well as a visual display, there are also announcements on board the train.
