We will be installing and testing the new level crossing equipment at Green Lane Level Crossing from 10pm on Friday 29 March until 6am on Friday 5 April. Works will be carried out 24 hours a day during this time, and we will need to have a full road closure over the crossing while they are taking place. Pedestrian access will be maintained, and diversion routes for vehicles will be signposted.
We understand that working near properties is far from ideal and we are sorry in advance for any disruption this may cause. Our teams have been briefed and will be mindful when carrying out this work, making sure all the relevant mitigations are in place to avoid excess noise. We will also continue to keep you updated with any work taking place.
Please note that these works are timed to start when the level crossing at North Seaton reopens.
