New Northern Timetable from 17th May 2026
We're sharing the new rail timetable which will start from Sunday 17th May and run until Saturday 12th December 2026. There aren't any major changes to the timetable, but customers are recommended to check if they travel on a regular journey as we don't want you to miss your train !

Revised Northumberland Line Rail Fares
Following the changes made to Nexus Pop Fares from 1st April 2026, some of the rail only fares have also been revised on the Northumberland Line. The positive is that rail only fares for 3 or 4 zone journeys have been reduced. This means that the peak time single fares from Ashington, Bedlington, Blyth Bebside, Newsham and Seaton Delaval to Manors or Newcastle have been reduced to £2.40, with the off peak single fare reduced to £2.00. Celebrating One Month Of Bedlington
Today marks one month since the station at Bedlington opened to the public. To celebrate the occasion, we had a chat with local resident Christine Bell and recreated a photo of her that was taken with the then Station Master of Bedlington in the 1950's.
