The level crossing & foot crossing at Bedlington North will be closed for two periods for follow up works following on from recent engineering works.
The works involve the use of a machine called a Tamper to make sure the track is level, which can be noisy. The works will take place at Bedlington North Level Crossing on:
· 4pm Tuesday 30 April to 5:50am Thursday 2 May
· 4pm Thursday 6 June to 5:30am Saturday 8 June
This work will take place 24 hours a day for both periods. We will need to have a full road and footway closure over Bedlington North Level Crossing and Bedlington North Foot Crossing while the works are taking place. A diversionary route, which has been agreed with the council, will be in place for your convenience.
