We will be installing and testing the new level crossing equipment at Holywell Level Crossing from 10pm on Saturday 27 April to 6am on Saturday 4 May in the location shown below. Following this, a second period of work will be carried out from 5am Monday 13 May to 5am Monday 27 May. Works will be carried out 24 hours a day for both periods. We will need to have a full road closure over the Holywell crossing while the works are taking place. A diversionary route, which has been agreed with the council, will be in place for your convenience. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
We understand that working near homes and working overnight is far from ideal and we are sorry in advance for any disruption these essential works may cause.
Our teams have been briefed and will be mindful when carrying out this work, making sure all the relevant mitigations are in place to avoid excess noise.
