From Saturday 8th July until March 2024, there'll be a lane and footway closure on the A186 Rotary Road as a works area will be created over the weekend of the 14th to 16th July.
The new works area will be used for the initial installation of the station platform equipment and the construction team will need to store equipment close by, on one lane of the A186 road. This will result in a temporary single nearside lane road closure and a footway closure on Rotary Road from Saturday 8th July 2023 until March 2024. Please see below for proposed layout.

In order to carry out the initial installation works, overnight work is required between;
· Friday 14th July 2023 20:00 – 06:00 hrs
· Saturday 15th July 20:00 – 06:00 hrs
· Sunday 16th July 20:00 – 06:00 hrs
During this overnight work, there is potential for noise disruption however every effort will be taken to reduce noise as much as possible. Fencing will be installed with localised acoustic blankets where required, to mitigate noise disruption.
All staff undertaking the works will be readily identifiable as they will be wearing orange hi-visibility jackets and trousers. We will make every effort to reduce dust, noise, and vibration throughout.
During this period there will be both traffic management in place and a pedestrian diversion route where pedestrians and cyclists will be diverted via Algernon Drive.
