Overnight CCTV surveys and traffic management on Ravensworth Street, Bedlington

We will be undertaking trial holes overnight on Monday 14 July 2025 – Friday 18 July 2025 between the hours of 10:00pm and 5:00am each shift. During this period, we will have temporary multiphase traffic lights in place between Station Road and Ravensworth Street. Please see below image for works location marked in yellow.

The two bus stops on Ravensworth street (marked in orange on the below image) will be temporarily moved further north up Ravensworth street during the works.

What to expect during the works

During this work there is potential for noise, site lighting and vibration, and delays to your journey but we will aim to keep disruption as minimal as practically possible and within the terms agreed with Northumberland County Council. We have continuous noise monitoring equipment installed onsite to capture in real-time the noise levels being generated as well as handheld noise monitoring equipment to record noise levels per shift.
