Station Construction Progress Meeting at Northumberland Park (7th October 2025)

We will be hosting an information session that will provide an update on progress so far and upcoming works relating to construction of the new Northumberland Park station, part of the Northumberland Line.

The meeting will take place on Tuesday 7 October at Backworth Hall, Station Road, NE27 0AH.

Please join us at 6pm for a presentation followed by an opportunity for discussion with representatives from Northumberland County Council, stations contractor Morgan Sindall Infrastructure, and the wider project team. The session will close at 7.30pm.

The purpose of the session is to provide residents with a summary of what to expect from station construction over the next few months. This includes installation of the new acoustic fence, tree planting, removal of the crane on Algernon Drive Bridge, and reinstatement of residents gardens on Fenwick Close.
