In order to carry out works to start to construct the new car park for Newsham station, 4-way traffic lights will be in place on Blagdon Drive junction on South Newsham Road (A1061) on Thursday 4 July 2024 and Friday 5 July 2024 between 9:30 am and 3:30 pm.
The works are needed so that the construction team can start excavation work for the construction of the new car park. The team will be trying to keep the noise to a minimum during these works and this initial phase will take place at off peak times to keep disruption to South Newsham Drive to a minimum.
