We will be undertaking works to complete the upgrade of the level crossing on Plessey Road, ahead of the reopening of the line to passenger trains later this year. The works will be undertaken from 11:45pm Saturday 23 November to 7am Sunday 24 November in the area shown below. During the works, there may be some localised disruption due to noise, however we will limit this where possible, including by turning equipment off when not in use.
We need to close the level crossing for vehicles during the works to allow for the works to be completed safely and a diversion will be clearly sign posted. Pedestrians will still be able to use the level crossing during the closure.
