Overnight Road Closures for Newsham Station Works

Full overnight road closures will be in place across the west and east side of Newsham Station to facilitate the final works required to finish the new road layout in this area. The work will take place on nights between the hours of midnight and 5:00am on Tuesday 23 September and Wednesday 24 September 2025.

Please follow diversion routes and signage during this period. Vehicle access will be marshalled and remain open for residents only and pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the works via diversion routes.

What to expect during these works

During this work there is potential for impact on people living and working close by, however every effort will be taken to limit this where practically possible. Any noise arising from the works will be within the legal levels under UK law. Every effort will be made to keep noise, dust, and vibration as limited as possible although some level of disturbance is to be expected.
