Overnight Works on Bebside Front Street Extended

Unfortunately due to the adverse weather conditions over the weekend, the team has been unable to complete the required resurfacing work during the expected timeframe.
The works will need to be extended to include additional overnight works and road closures 7pm on Tuesday 16 September to 6am on Wednesday 17 September, and 7pm on Friday 19 September to 6am on Saturday 20 September.
Access for properties will continue to be marshalled during the extension to the closure. Access for emergency vehicles will be provided at all times.
The free shuttle bus to connect to the X9 at Bebside Interchange will also run on both nights and Arriva are aware that X9 buses will need to divert.
Please note that the lane closure on Front Street, controlled by temporary traffic lights, will remain in place until at least Monday 22 September.
