Bedlington Station Construction Update

Work is progressing on the station construction at Bedlington and there will be 3 weekend closures in June so that more work close to the railway line can occur safely as no trains will be running.

We know that closing the line isn't ideal, but the rail service will still run hourly between Newsham, Seaton Delaval and Newcastle (most trains also call at Manors with the exception of Sundays).

A bus replacement service will run between Ashington and Newsham to connect with trains to/from Newcastle.

The line will have a revised service on Friday 6th June to Monday 9th June (inclusive), Saturday 21st June, Sunday 22nd June, Saturday 28th June & Sunday 29th June.

As well as the station car parks at Newsham and Seaton Delaval, we've also arranged that rail customers can use parking at Blyth Town FC on Sandringham Drive in Blyth, with the exception of Saturday 7th June when they're hosting an event.
