Overnight Closure on A189 Spine Road - Thursday 4th Sept 2025

There will be another overnight road closure on the A189 Spine Road between the Bebside and Three Horse Shoes roundabouts starting from 10pm on Thursday 4th September, with the road re-opening at 6am on Friday 5th September.

Traffic will be diverted via the A193 & B1505 during the overnight closures and please be aware that there are also temporary traffic lights on the A193 at Front Street in Bebside.

The A189 will be closed so that work on the new footbridge that will link to Blyth Bebside station from Chase Farm Drive/Asda can take place safely.
