West Car Park at Newsham - Opens Monday 29th September

From Monday 29^th September 2025, Newsham Station’s west car park will open to the public.

This will release additional car parking spaces, including more Blue Badge spaces and also EV charging spaces.

In order to complete landscaping works, from the afternoon of Monday 29^th September 2025 the contractor’s cabin, which is currently on the west car park site, will move into the lay by off the junction off west roundabout adjacent to Railway Cottages on South Newsham Road.

Please note that this cabin will be in place for the duration of the landscaping works as a welfare facility for staff working on the site. Please see below for the location of the layby in yellow.
