Information Event Ahead Of Northumberland Park Station Opening

Our next station on the Northumberland Line to open will be Northumberland Park on Sunday 22nd February 2026.

Ahead of the reintroduction of the passenger service at this station, you're invited you to join us on Wednesday 18th February 2026 at Backworth Hall, Station Rd, Backworth, NE27 0AH from 6.15pm to 7.45pm for an information event.

The event will be a drop in, so call in any time between 6.15pm and 7.45pm to ask questions about the station and the new rail service that Northern will be providing. So, if there's any questions on the timetable, the fares, cycle parking, walking routes to the station, then this is your chance to ask.

We'll also have some of the project team on hand to answer any questions on the restoration works for Fenwick Close residents for their gardens and parking spaces etc.
